Fermi Energia is an Estonian energy company that focuses on the development and deployment of Small Modular Reactors (SMR). The company’s goal is to provide an opportunity to reach carbon neutrality with reliability and affordability to Baltic Consumers. Small Modular Reactors that Fermi Energia is considering are currently being developed and licensed with government funding in the USA, UK and in Canada with targeted power generation in 2028. We are making preparations so that by 2031 it would be possible to start electricity production with a suitable small reactor in Estonia as well.
Our vision
Fermi Energia plans to deploy New Generation Small Modular Reactor nuclear power plant in Estonia.
